Breaking it Down !

I know how you feel when the fashion from the runaways are on, and we see the makeup our jaws hit the ground and we look in utter disbelief at the over the top presentation. This is what we call Haute Couture which is the height of fashion. These are the same runway trends that are taken bit by bit and translated into the reality in which we live. If you follow the trend of the seasons you will notice that there will be a predominant feature of the makeup which signals the trend. Let's break it down !

Dior Haute Couture Spring/Summmer 2011

The Dior Spring/Summer 2011 collection reaffirms the continuing trend of stronger brows. Gone are the skinny brows, it seems bigger is better and bigger brows are a trend that will be around for much longer.Don't get thrown off by the red eyebrows this is just to exaggerate the effect, to make a statement. The smokey eyes which have a red wing tipped edge also indicates the trend of the slanted eyes which gives the eyes a more seductive look. This ties in greatly with Dior's romantic collection for the season. Please note the red lips, they are here to stay!!
