Eyeshadow Fall out!

We always  wonder what is the best way to deal with eyeshadow fall out. We are gonna look at some of the various approaches we can take to reduce fallout.

Using a Wet brush !

You can use a damp brush that has either been wet with water of your favorite mixing solution. This helps to reduce shadow fallout as the product adheres better to the brush and the skin.

Apply Eye makeup First!

You can take the approach of doing your eye makeup first before applying your foundation. This works especially if you are doing a really dark eye.

Using Foundation or Concealer !

You can put on your foundation ( you have a choice of setting it with powder or not). I think it is best not to set the foundation until after you have applied the eye makeup as it makes it easier to clean up. When the eyeshadow is applied you can use a facial wipe to lift off the fallout then reapply the foundation or concealer which acts as a eraser. You can still utilize the damp brush method as well on the eyes to reduce fall out.

Using Powder!

You can use a veil of translucent powder under your eyes to catch the fallout. the trick here is to ensure that you remove it properly. For print work I try to avoid this method because it can cause the face to look powdery.

Experiment and see which method you like and if you have any tips on how to catch fall out please post so we all can learn.
