TGIF everyone !!! For this image I decided to curl the model's hair utilizing hot rollers. When you are in a time crunch, hot rollers are a life saver. Start out by spritzing hairspray and rolling it in the direction you desire. It all depends on the look you are trying to achieve. When that is completed you start to work on the makeup so when you are finished, the model's hair is ready to be styled. This cuts down on time, by covering all your bases at once. After taking out the rollers just separate the curls and if needs be you can do a bit of teasing at the roots for added body.
In this shot I opted to do a smokey eye because her almond shaped eyes were her most outstanding feature. As an artist you have to look at your subject and examine what it is that you want to bring out or to show off. It could be the person's beautiful lips or strong jaw line. The decision to highlight the area on the face lies in your hands.
