Hot Weather Essentials!

Here are just a few hot weather essentials for the hot Summer days when you are out and about. After applying your sunscreen, if you are wearing foundation, use a primer for longevity as the primer helps with makeup melt down. Remember to keep your lips moisturized as it is exposed. Carmex lip balm has SPF protection and is great before applying your lip stain. A lip stain is great in hot weather as no one wants to contend with too much gloss when the weather is hot. So with a lip stain you get  color without the gloss.

Erase the Shine!

As I was browsing through my local Target store I came across these blotting sheets, which are just for a $1. These are great for the Summer to absorb the oil, instead of constantly reapplying powder which can sometimes leave our makeup looking a bit caked on. They are small enough to fit in your mini cosmetic pouches and just takes a few seconds to do the trick.
 However if you decide to go the powder route, remember before reapplying your powder use a paper towel or tissue to absorb the oil before applying the powder. This will prevent you sealing in the oil into your foundation. Tweet

Summer is here and many of us are facing between 90 - 100 degree heat and as a result we are faced with makeup melt down. I am faced with this issue, especially when I arrive to a set with a face full of runny makeup - not a good look I might add.
