To get the look right use an eyebrow pencil one shade lighter than your natural color; if you are blonde it should be two shades darker, and blending with a matching shadow.

Brow Story!

  1.  Use a spooly brush your brows upwards.
  2. Take your flat front cuticle scissors and slowly cut along the edges of your hair.
  3. Tweeze the upper areas of brow hair that cannot be cut.
  4. Clean up the arch area, check for stray hairs.
  5. Use handle of your makeup brush, with your nose as a guide to measure where your brows should naturally begin.
  6. Shift handle so it is line with your pupil to know where the arch of your brows should be located.
  7. Place handle at the corner of your eye, with your nose as a reference point to see where the tail of your brows should end.
  8. After knowing where your brow should start and end, proceed to fill in your brows with brow powder.

Brow inspiration!

I guess I am having brow mania as I am loving the fullness of these brows. Notice the shape and the color. The shape of the brows has a slight arch and the color used to define the brows are a shade darker than their hair color. Loving this look as the brows are the focal point , with a muted soft barely there makeup look. Brows really set the framework for the face and this certainly depicts it.

Love this!

I came across this fantastic quote I just had to share. No two brows are alike, they are unique in their shape. As you are styling your brows today keep this in mind so you don't get frustrated that your brows are not exactly the same.

Brow Tip
Sam Fine suggests that women of darker complexion have darker brows and it is best to set the brows with powder by filling in the sparse areas with shades ranging from brown to dark espresso. The powder is used after making hair like strokes with your brow pencil to temper the color and to give it a more natural look.
