Are you Daring enough?

I know it might be way too daring for some of us, to wear a non traditional lip color. This trend of wearing yellows to greens is taking over. Normally on a photo shoot I would be utilizing my Kryolan Supracolor to get these fantastic shades. On the horizon is a more user friendly brand from Keisha Dior called Ka'oir.


Here's what I use on a photo shoot!

This is a grease paint palette that you can mix to your heart's desire and this is just one palette from their listing. I first apply foundation, then powder then apply the grease paint, blot , reapply and powder.

Drool Worthy Looks!

This is a wing tipped look one that requires flawless foundation, and I would recommend applying foundation and concealer where you need it most. Notice the brows are well defined and so you would pay special attention to applying your brow powder and then using your brow gel to set them for a nice clean look. For the eyes, you would first line them with black liner and then apply lashes that will pop (natural is best) . Don't forget to curl your lashes which gives them a more natural upturned effect.
 After measuring , and trimming your lashes to fit your eye and once applied you then go over with a liner, preferably liquid. Take your time with the strokes, with your thinnest line which should be at the inner rim and a small tip at the end. Your best best is to start at the center and work your way towards the corner of your eye until your confidence grows.
For your lips, you can go with a nude lip or one with a hint of color. Isn't this look to die for!! It's an easy to wear look, that has an edge to it.Loves it! Tweet

Be BOLD with your berry lips, which are making a comeback. This works beautifully with a flawless foundation, soft muted tones for your eyes and blush or if you so desire you can throw in a bit of contour to give your face more definition. Finished off with your favorite berry lip color!

A Peek in=to Fall

Even though we are into the heights of Summer it doesn't for us to get a bit prepared for Fall trends. Check out the looks for fall from Chloe' and Donna Karan for 2011.

We see the continuation of the flawless finish foundation (Donna Karan 2011) and the chocolate smokey eyes from Chloe'. The softness of the smokey eyes is enhanced with a dark black or deep brown liner which is smoked out with browns.
